Terms of Use

Last updated: 2 October 2026

By using StreetShelf you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app. The Turkish version prevails if the two differ.

What StreetShelf does

StreetShelf is a meeting place for neighbours to gift, lend or rent things to each other. Agreements and handovers happen directly between users. StreetShelf is not a party to them; it does not own, sell, rent out or insure the items, and it does not handle any payment.

What is not allowed

You may not share or do the following:

Safety

When meeting someone new, choose busy, well-lit places and trust your instincts. You can block and report anyone from within the app. We review reports and may remove content or close accounts.

Your content

You own the text and photos you post. You give us a free, non-exclusive licence to display, store and show them to other users in the app. The licence ends when you delete the content or your account.

Closing an account

You can permanently delete your account at any time under Settings → Delete account. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms, with or without notice.

Limitation of liability

StreetShelf is provided as is. We do not guarantee it will run without interruption or errors. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for losses arising from agreements, items or meetings between users. This does not limit liability for intent or gross negligence, or any mandatory rights you have as a consumer.

Changes

We may update these terms. Significant changes are announced in the app; continuing to use it after a change means you accept the new terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. Your right as a consumer to go to the consumer arbitration committees and courts where you live is unaffected.
